Initial balance

There is a peasant who is really poor and desperate. He has a lot of debts and soon he is going to lose his house and the land he possesses.

Disrupting events

The poor peasant meets a hunter, who is in fact Birkmandeljc(a goblin). Birkmandeljc gives him some money and offers him a chance to get some more, if he finds out his name until the end of the year.

Obstacles and help

Obstacles :

  in the beginning the peasant is poor
  the peasant doesn’t know the hunters name

Help :

  Birkmandeljc, who helps the countryman by giving him some money and by offering him a chance to get more
  The big fir tree that the peasant climbs up to watch Birkmandeljc

Final battle

The peasant hears how the little goblin is screaming his name. The peasant tells Birkmandeljc that he has found out his name and Birkmandeljc gives the countryman the promised money.

New balance

The peasant and his family get rich, but their house is without one corner which falls off, because of Birkmandeljc.
