Radenci

Long ago on a marshy meadow in the middle of the village of Radenci there was a deep spring with strangely boiling water.

Numerous glass bubbles hissed and burst from the tumultuous water.

The villagers were amazed and frightened by this natural wonder and believed it to be a »bublja« where the witches were cooking hail with which to destroy their fields and vineyards.

They feared that the day after the »bublja« erupted, a terrible thunderstorm would beak over the land and ruin the crops on the hills of Kapela, Murscak and Janezev vrh. Many years passed before the people realized that »bublja« was a rich sorce of mineral water.
